Lettering Tattoos

A lettering tattoo lives or dies on its typography: the letterforms, the spacing between them and how the line sits with the body, so a single word or a full phrase reads cleanly for years.

At B36 Tattoo & Piercing on Melrose Avenue, our lettering work ranges from flowing script and cursive to fine line lettering and clean serif type, built around your own words, names and phrases. Each design is custom, and we match you with an artist whose lettering approach suits the piece and its placement.
